A380 is coming!

Okay folks, now it’s getting exciting. FlyByWire Simulations has just announced the out of the hangar for the A380 for this Saturday, October 26, 2024 for 1800z on their YouTube channel. Even though this is not a release announcement, we can assume that this giant will be available to us afterwards and yes, it’s all super exciting and super cool, but we would like to ask you one thing and draw your attention to one thing before you carry out the first MockingBird Air flights with this giant: The Airbus A380-800 is a super complex aircraft with an incredible number of functions and things that need to be taken into account. Whether you’re flying offline or online, do yourself a favor: familiarize yourself with the aircraft. Look at procedures, watch YouTube tutorials, ask our training captains. Make sure you feel confident enough to handle this plane before you take to the air. Yes, safety is a bit of learning by doing, but you should know how to handle the plane if something doesn’t go as planned.
