Do I have to fly on Vatsim/IVAO?
No! Even though we are both Vatsim and IVAO partners, it is not a must to fly on these networks, offline is always possible! Of course, we welcome flights on online networks and are happy to support you in your initial stages.

I no longer have the time to partake in the hobby. How can I resign on good terms?
Of course, this is possible at any time. In principle, no one has to leave the airline if they no longer have time, as we do not have a minimum activity policy. If you would still prefer to leave the airline, this is possible, and you can also become part of MockingBird Air again at any time!

Do I have to fly out of my Crew Base?
No. We do not restrict flights to your crew base. You may fly any flight on our schedule.

Does it cost anything to be part of MockingBird Air?
No. Membership at MockingBird Air is completely free!

Are there any Mimium Activity Requirements?
No. At MockingBird Air we know that we all have a personal life with work and family. For this reason, we do not have an activity policy.

Do I need any previous experience?
In principle, we welcome everyone, regardless of their level of experience. We have experienced simmers and pilots in our ranks who can also help beginners to have a successful start.

Are there custom liveries?
Yes, there are. There are currently liveries for the MSFS2020 and the first ones for MSFS2024. Flying with a MockingBird Air livery is also a requirement. Exceptions to this are aircraft types, simulators or platforms for which there are no liveries (yet).

Is there a minimum age?
Due to legal guidelines in Germany, our minimum age is 14 years. In individual cases, exceptions can be made after consultation, but parents are liable for their children.

Unlawfully obtained versions of simulators or other products used.
Given the circumstances, we would like to draw your attention to our piracy policy, according to which if we learn of illegally acquired software within MockingBird Air, you will be immediately banned from the community. We also reserve the right to contact the developers with evidence and, if necessary, take legal action.
