With this step, MockingBird Air is once again investing in future-oriented solutions that enhance realism, efficiency, and operational excellence for our virtual flight crews.

⚙️ What is efbX?

efbX is a modern, web-based electronic flight bag solution designed specifically for flight simulation environments. It runs seamlessly on all major devices – from tablets and laptops to iPads and in-browser setups.

The project was created and is actively developed by KatiePilot, a real-world airline Captain and well-known figure in the flight simulation community. Her professional background and dedication to the sim world ensure that efbX delivers an authentic and practical EFB experience for virtual pilots.

Its modular architecture allows pilots to personalize their EFB experience through an integrated App Store. The platform includes tools for preflight briefing, live weather visualization, runway analysis, NOTAM integration, SimBrief imports, PDF documentation, defect tracking, and much more – all in a user-friendly interface.

Advanced integrations with SimBrief, VATSIM, GSX, and real-time weather systems offer a powerful and streamlined cockpit workflow. Crew members can manage everything from aircraft preparation to performance planning, ground services, and route analysis – all from a single dashboard.
